In this 28 minute guided meditation we use the technique Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra, or “Yogic Sleep” is the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. This type of meditation practice offers deep relaxation, rest and nourishment.

Just 30 minutes is equivalent to 3-4 hours of sleep! Yoga Nidra, differing from a common meditation practice, uses body scan, breathing techniques, and visualization to calm the central nervous system resulting in lowered stress and anxiety levels.

To prepare for the meditation:
Wear comfortable clothing, find a quiet space, lay out a yoga mat, use any helpful props like bolsters//pillows, blocks//books, eye pillow//cover, blanket. Make sure to hydrate!
